It’s newsletter official, I know you’ve heard the rumors and they are TRUE! MSA-7 Northridge is partnering with The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts as a Focus School! The Wallis is located right in the center of Beverly Hills, California. This prestigious center brings “world-class theater, dance, and music performed by many of the world’s most talented and sought-after artists" and now our students will be able to enjoy the world of the arts as they partner with Wallis.
The Focus School program includes Teacher Workshops, Weekend Performance tickets, Teaching Artists at the school site, Professional Development sessions, and Career-in-the-Arts events. This new program will engage students in the arts and allows them to attend various shows. Students and their families will enjoy special perks and a unique opportunity.
Our new Director of Partnerships-Ismael Soto will be working closely with MSA-7 leadership and The Wallis to ensure the school and its parent community are well informed and benefit the most from this partnership.
What we know for sure is that MSA-7 Van Nuys is putting the A in STEAM! Way to go, MSA-7!
