Executive Director Alejandra Ceja to speak at MSA-8 Bell

Alejandra Ceja, executive director of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics (Initiative), will speak at Magnolia Science Academy 8 in Bell, Calif., at 2:30 p.m. PT on Friday, Jan. 15.

Alejandra Ceja, executive director of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics (Initiative), will speak at Magnolia Science Academy 8 in Bell, Calif., at 2:30 p.m. PT on Friday, Jan. 15.

Ceja will address approximately 500 students in grades 6-8,along with teachers and administrators during the school’s assembly. She will share her personal story to help inspire students to reach higher to complete high school and college. She will also discuss the importance of strong school supports and mentors working to ensure the educational excellence of all students, including Latino and first generation students.

Magnolia Science Academy 8-Bell provides a Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics education to historically underserved students.
