And the App Challenge Winner is...

Just a short couple months ago young MSA-6 Palms student Adam Iglesias put his mind to work and came up with a winning idea for the LA Latino Heritage App Challenge.

Just a short couple months ago young MSA-6 Palms student Adam Iglesias put his mind to work and came up with a winning idea for the LA Latino Heritage App Challenge. This challenge was open to all K-12 students in California and gave students the opportunity to create a brand new mobile app that would improve the lives of Los Angeles residents. 18 students from schools across Los Angeles participated in the App Challenge and our very own Adam WON!

The LA Latino Heritage Team presented certificates from Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, School board member Monica Garcia and Councilwoman Nury Martinez for Adam’s achievements during MSA-6 Palms STEM Expo.

We are very proud of Adam’s accomplishments and are incredibly impressed with his innovative mind. Adam is the true embodiment and result of Magnolia’s vision “…students who are scientific thinkers that contribute to the global community as socially responsible and educated members of society.”

Way to go, Adam!
