MPS Spring Symposium

On March 10th, school was out for students but well over 200 amazing teachers, staff and administrators were in and ready to dive into another great symposium! Our keynote speaker Brian D. Mendler was very inspiring, engaging, and interactive as he spoke about “Working Successfully with Difficult Students,” the focus of his book “The Taming of the Crew.”

Our keynote speaker Brian D. Mendler was very inspiring, engaging, and interactive as he spoke about “Working Successfully with Difficult Students,” the focus of his book “The Taming of the Crew.” Mendler’s approach for best practices was easily accepted as our staff nodded in agreement or laughed at certain stories because they related to it. Mendler emphasized that the simple things any teacher does can immediately impact their students’ lives and put them on the path to success.

Needless to say it was a successful event and we have to give praise to our Chief Academic Officer and Academic Team for leading the charge and organizing such an incredible symposium! Also, thank you to McGraw Hill and Montage for sponsoring breakfast and lunch.
