DIANE GONZALEZ, BOARD MEMBER Diane Gonzalez has been serving in the Board of Directors since 2014. Her goal is to service the school community through engagement with stakeholders and leaders and is driven to support the educational journey of the students at Magnolia Public Schools. She retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) after 57 years of service. She worked as a Community Outreach Specialist. She worked with schools, businesses, state and local agencies, faith based communities and organizations throughout Southern California. She is involved with the Salvation Army Westwood Transitional Village as part of their Advisory Council for the past 15 years. As part of her professional life in public service, she has helped form the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Citizen's Academy and served two terms on their Board as the Secretary and Treasurer. She also served as a mentor with Pennylane which is a group home for at-risk girls, a mediator with Centinela Valley Juvenile Diversion Program. She is also a member with the Los Angeles InfarGard Alliance and a member of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Citizen's Academy. Her passion also lead her to create a reading program at the Bessie Pregerson Child Development Center, created and implemented a Community Relations Executive Seminar Training Program (CREST); and, created a Multi-Cultural Advisory Committee. Diane Gonzalez has coordinated and participated in the Special Olympics of Southern California Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) and was on the LETR Council.
