Every Year, US NEWS releases America’s Best High Schools according to their academic success. 2010 rankings were announced: www.usnews.com/education/best-high-schools
These are based on Advanced Placement (AP) Test results of graduates. Magnolia Science Academy got silver level in the nation www.usnews.com/listings/high-schools/california/magnolia_science_academy
This ranking is based on 2008 AP results, not 2009. Because, it takes a lot of time to analyze the state scores of all 50 states. In final round, they look at AP scores and the state test scores. To be silver or gold medal schools, US News requires schools to have at least 20 graduated students. Our school, MSA-1 Reseda had graduated fewer than 20 students in 2008. Last year MSA-1 Reseda won Bronze Medal. |
