MEKAN MUHAMMEDOV, BOARD CHAIR

Mr. Mekan Muhammedov is a results-oriented leader and a real estate investor and entrepreneur with a passion for optimizing business operations. Prior to joining the Board, he served as Executive Director of GG Construction in Dubai. He has a long history with Magnolia Public Schools, having been employed by the organization between 2005 and 2014. Throughout his tenure, he played a key role in strengthening financial systems, developing policies, and ensuring organizational compliance and sustainability.

Through his diverse experience across education, business, and operations, Mekan Muhammedov brings a strong commitment to excellence and a passion for supporting impactful, mission-driven organizations.

He holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Political Science from California State University, Northridge. His professional expertise includes strategic planning, financial management, project management, and organizational leadership.
