What kinds of information do we collect?
We do not collect information from you when you view our site. You may always visit our site anonymously. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
Information is only collected when you use our “Contact Us” form or subscribe to our newsletter. The only information collected is your name, phone number, and email address if you provide it. This information is collected through Mailchimp (newsletter) and SchoolMint (enrollment), a third-party vendor, to provide the information to Magnolia Public Schools only.
How do we use this information?
We will use your information to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us. Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future. Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
- To contact you based on your request or concerns. This can be from your interest in learning more about our schools and academic program.
- Share updates and organization highlights. The email address you provide for a subscription to our newsletter will be used to send you periodic emails regarding sharing organization-wide information.
Reviewing, Modifying Information
You may opt-out of any future contacts, change, correct, or delete any data we have at any time. You can also opt-out of receiving marketing e-mails from us by following the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of our marketing e-mails opt-out.
Photo and Video Usage of Students
At Magnolia Public Schools, we may use student images and videos taken by Magnolia Public Schools based on their participation in events hosted by the school site or organization-wide, such as the STEAM Expo. These images are solely used to promote our school offerings, brand awareness, and overall educational program. Such media can be used through mass media, displays, brochures, websites, advertisements, banners, etc.
It is important to note that we only use photos, videos, etc. of students for whom we have received parental/guardian consent forms before using their photos, videos, etc.. This consent may be revoked at any time by the parent or guardian.
Notification of Changes
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we decide to change this Privacy Policy, we will inform you by posting the revised Privacy Policy on this page. Those changes will go into effect on the date shown that it has been revised in the Privacy Policy.
We will also update the Privacy Policy modification date below.
