As the Accountability Operations Manager at Magnolia Public Schools, Jennifer Hook uses her unique perspective and work experience to support school site offices and administrative teams.
Jennifer is an MSA-1 alumni that graduated in 2010. After graduation, she worked as an office assistant and after-school coach at MSA-7 where she familiarized herself with MPS policy and procedures. After graduating from California State University Northridge with her BS in Tourism, Hospitality, and Recreation Management and acquiring additional management experience she returned to MPS to expand on the collaborative problem-solving spirit Magnolia Public Schools has fostered. Jennifer believes that every person should be well equipped with the right tools and knowledge to succeed. She uses her knowledge in MPS policy and procedures, reporting and student systems, and project management to build capacity throughout the organization. Her goal is to continue to help streamline administrative and reporting requirements so school sites can prioritize providing a high-quality school experience to their students. Jennifer was born and raised in Los Angeles County to a Mexican mom and Belizean dad. She is a proud new mom who adores the rollercoaster ride that is toddlerhood. In her spare time, she loves discovering new places to have fun. She is constantly on the lookout for new restaurants, pop up experiences, and art showcases. |
