Maite Montalvo is a passionate advocate for community advocacy and equity who currently serves as the Director of Community Schools and Partner Engagement. As a first-generation Quechua Bolivian, Maite has a deep understanding of the challenges that marginalized communities face, particularly in regards to education. Her work in social justice aims to break down systemic barriers and create a more equitable world for all.
Throughout her career, Maite has been dedicated to promoting education as a tool for empowerment and social change. Her leadership in community schools has helped to create more inclusive and supportive learning environments for students from a wide range of backgrounds. Maite's commitment to equity and justice is matched by her enthusiasm for engaging partners in this work, recognizing that creating real change requires collaboration across many sectors. Maite’s unwavering belief in the power of collective action to drive positive change is evident in her work.
