![]() National School Choice Week (NSCW) is a week designed to raise public awareness of all types of effective education options for children, including traditional and charter public schools, magnet, private schools, online academies and homeschooling. During this week there are thousands of events planned around the country designed to celebrate and highlight these options. |
Our Future Engineers attend "Hidden Figures" Screening
![]() On January 10th, over 100 MSA-8 Bell students attended a free screening of the film Hidden Figures at the Galen Center, USC. The screening event had special guests Octavia Spencer, Taraji P. Henson, Janelle MonĂ¡e, and Pharrell who encouraged girls to pursue careers in STEM. |
Vipers Place 7th in Robotics Competition
![]() Our MSA-3 Vipers traveled from Carson to San Diego to participate in the infamous Lego Competition. The robotics team worked hard to be prepared for this competition and their work paid off, out of the 36 teams that participated they finished in 7th place! Way to go MSA-3 Vipers! |
RoboWarriors Get Closer to World Championship
![]() On Saturday, January 14th, the MSA-1 RoboWarriors robotics team completed 24 qualifying rounds at the California High Desert VEX Robotics High School League. They placed 1st and 5th for the season out of 48 teams. |
